Mohan Foundation was established in 2011 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Its registered office is located at Alkapuri, Chakbinda, Gardanibagh, Patna – 800002.
Mohan Foundation is a Patna-based non-governmental and social organization working since 2011 for the improvement of health, education, hygiene, and social welfare in the community. The Foundation aims to serve poor and marginalized populations across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
The Foundation has been actively working in the fields of health and education, with a strong focus on community welfare and outreach. It has organized many health camps under the banner of R M Hospital, including the free distribution of medicines to support underserved communities.
The main objectives of the Foundation are to work in the following areas:
Health: Maternal and child health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, strengthening health infrastructure, training, and quality service delivery.
Water, Hygiene and Sanitation: Promoting safe water, hygiene practices, and sanitation awareness.
Education: Improving the education system for poor and slum children and creating better learning opportunities.
Social Welfare: Working for the welfare and support of orphanages and old age homes.
Mr. Sahay has been practicing law for more than 50 years and is a senior advocate at the Patna High Court.
Arun Srivastava is an advocate and the Director of Bihar Institute of Low.
Dr. Nita Jha has 26 years of experience in the development sector, especially in health. She has worked with various international organizations in reproductive health, family planning, communicable and non-communicable diseases.
